The FOM Donates $57,525 to the Easter Island Foundation in 2024!

The Fraternal Order of Moai proudly announces our annual donation to the Easter Island Foundation in 2024! Thanks to our dedicated Ohana attendees, generous sponsors, and committed donors; FOM has raised an impressive $57,525 this year for our national charity partner, the Easter Island Foundation (EIF).

This donation plays a crucial role in funding university scholarships for youth of Rapa Nui heritage. Additionally, we consistently provide robust support to the Toki Rapa Nui School of Music and the Arts. The Toki School is committed to several essential objectives: delivering music education in both classical and indigenous traditions while actively preserving the Rapa Nui language, dance, and the rich cultural heritage of the island.

Beyond our ongoing support for indigenous Rapa Nui students and the Toki School, the Fraternal Order of Moai actively collaborates with the Easter Island Foundation and local island leaders to explore even more impactful ways to uplift the Rapa Nui community.

In 2024, we have also directed our charitable contributions to the Hawai’i LGBTQ+ Legacy Foundation, the Hawai’i Youth Symphony, and the Lanai Cat Sanctuary. Our thirteen regional chapters, along with members across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, are tirelessly raising funds for both local and international charities.
